Greetings all . It's a month to go till this fixture so lets get some ideas floating around concerning an itineary.

Pick up times for other places will be confirmed nearer the time for people not from Weston but my suggestion is we should aim to leave the Woolpack at 0800

210 miles from Weston according to Google Maps

2 hours later 100 miles approx 1000 stop at either Junction 5(Droitwich) or Junction 2 (Oldbury) for a Macdonalds Breakfast/Coffee stop/Toilet Break.

Leave approx 1030 to complete journey to Blackburn. Park on Away coach car park and then head for the Fernhurst Hotel etc . If anyone knows of any other establishments etc that are a great meet up point for Villa fans lets hear them.We can always go there and then drive down to the Away Coach park after that.

Leave under escort from the Coach park and get back on the journey home. Now this is where the input is down entirely to you all.

Going very approx 4 to a 4 and half hour trip back with a couple of toilet stops as well............

Do we stop at "known pub" for something to eat/drink whilst in mid journey?

or just a kebab at Charlies Van in Droitwich to break up the journey?


Or: Do we get "race" back to Weston for around 1000 and have a drink in the Woodspring then a Curry afterwards in The Indian with the waiters in the Claret and Blue uniform?

I could then drive people onwards to the other pick up points (If they dont want a curry that is !!!) whilst the rest of you have a drink and then get back to Weston in time for the curry?

Up to the game we must have some sort of "strict" intineary but after the game I'm completely flexible. There are no time constraints on my part ............I just have to have the bus back here in Shepton by 0830 on the Sunday morning


Come on then lets have those ideas we have got a month to sort it all out.
